1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Kelpie, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement.
2. Personal-use service
Kelpie provides tools for personal expense tracking, budgeting, subscription management, transaction imports, notifications, and related financial organization. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Kelpie for lawful personal purposes.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials and devices, and activity performed through your account. Notify the developer promptly if you believe your account or connected service has been compromised.
4. Gmail Transaction Automation
Gmail connection is optional. When enabled, Kelpie uses read-only Gmail access to detect authenticated DBS card and PayNow transaction alerts and create transactions or review items. Kelpie retains an encrypted, masked audit snapshot for authenticated alerts so you can compare the email, parser result, and transaction record. You are responsible for reviewing automated entries for accuracy. You may disconnect Gmail at any time.
5. Financial information and estimates
Kelpie is an organizational tool, not a bank, payment service, accountant, investment adviser, or financial adviser. Foreign-currency conversions, categories, forecasts, recaps, and automated records may be estimated, delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Verify important information against bank records before making financial decisions.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Kelpie, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, reverse engineer protected systems, upload unlawful content, or use connected APIs in violation of their terms. You must not use Kelpie to harm another person or process mailbox data you are not authorized to access.
7. Third-party services
Kelpie depends on services provided by Apple, Google, Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI, Brandfetch, financial institutions, and other providers. Their availability, accuracy, and terms are outside Kelpie’s control. Your use of those services may be governed by separate agreements.
8. Availability and changes
Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Kelpie may limit or suspend access when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or misuse prevention. Reasonable efforts may be made to preserve user data, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
9. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kelpie is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of data, missed payments, incorrect categorization, exchange-rate differences, or decisions made using Kelpie. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Ending use
You may stop using Kelpie and disconnect connected services at any time. Access may be terminated for material violation of these Terms, security risk, or unlawful use. Sections that logically survive termination continue to apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
