Kelpie

Private beta for iPhone

Every spend,
logged.
You didn't
type a thing.

Your bank already emails you after every card tap, PayNow and NETS payment. Kelpie reads those alerts and writes each one into your ledger. No Shortcuts. No manual entry.

Starting with DBS/POSB Singapore Indian banks next. Tell us yours.

TestFlight invites go out in small waves, DBS/POSB users first. Tell us your bank so we know which one to add next.

  • One confirmation email, then only your invite

Shortcuts only hear Apple Pay.

Most budgeting apps want you to type every spend, or to wire up a Shortcut that fires when Apple Pay runs. That misses the hawker PayNow QR, the UPI scan back home, the card number typed into a checkout page.

Every one of those still sends your bank's alert email. That is the signal Kelpie listens to.

Spends tracked1 of 5

Bank alert emails sent for all five.

Set it up once. Never type a spend again.

  1. Forward your alerts

Kelpie gives you a private forwarding address. One mail filter sends your bank's alerts there, and nothing else.

  2. Kelpie reads each one

Amount, merchant, card or PayNow, read the moment the alert lands. Anything it can't read waits for you to review.

  3. Your ledger is up to date

The spend appears in your accounts with a category you can change. Budgets and balances follow on their own.

Questions

Which banks does it support?

DBS and POSB in Singapore first. Indian banks are next, in the order people ask for them, so tell us yours on the form.

Does Kelpie read my email?

Only the bank alerts you forward to your private Kelpie address. It never signs in to your mailbox and never sees anything your filter doesn't send.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone only for now, through TestFlight during the beta.

Is it free?

Free during the beta. Paid plans come later, and beta testers hear about pricing before anyone else.

Is Kelpie financial advice?

No. Kelpie keeps a record of your spending. It does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not affiliated with DBS or any other bank.

Let your bank do the typing.
